Beschreibung

Its colonies form dense bushes of thin, irregular branches, often brown, green or pink. Corallites are tubular and protruding. It grows quickly and easily colonizes substrates. Its polyps are small and retracted during the day. It is hardy and tolerates variable conditions. In aquariums, it requires strong light and moderate to strong flow. It is less demanding than other Acropora.

Temperature 25-28°C, pH 8.1-8.4, salinity 1.024-1.026. Strong lighting, moderate to strong flow. Calcium 420-450 ppm, magnesium 1300-1350 ppm. Nitrates < 10 ppm, phosphates < 0.1 ppm. Feeds by photosynthesis, may accept plankton. Minimum tank volume 200 liters. Compatible with most fish. Easy propagation by fragmentation. Good choice for SPS beginners.
