Beschreibung
Cryptodendrum adhaesivum has an oral disc of 15-20 cm, with short, branched, highly adhesive tentacles. Coloration ranges from brown to green, sometimes with white spots. It attaches to rocks or coral rubble. It is solitary and moderately aggressive. It can host certain clownfish such as Amphiprion clarkii. Its sting is stronger than that of other common anemones.

Temperature 24-28°C, pH 8.1-8.4, salinity 1.023-1.025. Moderate lighting, low to moderate flow. Minimum tank volume 150 L. Feed small pieces of fish or shrimp 1-2 times per week. Avoid strong currents. Sensitive to nitrates (max 10 ppm). Good filtration and regular water changes are essential. Compatible with clownfish and peaceful fish. Handle with care as tentacles are very sticky.
