This blenny requires an aquarium of at least 80 liters with plenty of hiding places and rocks. Temperature 24-28°C, pH 8.1-8.4. It is herbivorous and should be fed algae-rich foods (nori, spirulina) supplemented with mysis. A volume of 100 liters is preferable for one specimen. It may jump, so a lid is recommended. Compatible with most peaceful reef fish. Avoid very aggressive fish. Good filtration and moderate lighting are sufficient.
