Beschreibung
Epiplatys annulatus is a small fish from the Nothobranchiidae family, native to West Africa. It reaches about 3 cm. Its body is elongated with dark vertical bands on a light background, hence the name 'annulatus'. Males are more colorful with elongated fins. It is a peaceful surface-dwelling fish that lives in groups. It is highly appreciated in aquariums for its small size and colors.

Tank of at least 30 liters, with gentle filtration and floating plants. Acidic to neutral water (pH 6.0-7.0), temperature 24-28°C. Fine food: brine shrimp, microworms, flakes. Surface dweller, provide a clear surface area. Keep in groups of 6+.
