Beschreibung

Glossostigma diandrum resembles G. elatinoides but its leaves are slightly wider (up to 2 cm) and darker green. Stolons are sturdier and the carpet is less dense. It tolerates slightly lower light than its cousin. Emersed, it produces white flowers with two stamens (hence the name). Growth is fast with CO₂. It is a bit less demanding than G. elatinoides but still an intermediate to advanced plant.

Pflegehinweise

Moderate to high light (0.5-0.8 W/L) recommended. CO₂ beneficial (15-25 mg/L) for optimal growth. Temperature 20-28°C, pH 6.0-7.5, GH 2-12°dGH, KH 1-6°dKH. Less sensitive to parameters than G. elatinoides. Plant small groups 2-3 cm apart. Regular trimming to keep carpet low. Balanced fertilization (NPK + trace elements). Compatible with most peaceful fish. Propagate by dividing stolons.
