Beschreibung
Heteractis malu has an oral disc of 20-30 cm, with long, thin, often translucent tentacles in white, pink or beige. It buries its base in the sand, leaving only tentacles exposed. It is solitary and less aggressive than other anemones. It readily hosts clownfish such as Amphiprion ocellaris. Its sting is moderate. It is sensitive to parameter changes.

Temperature 24-28°C, pH 8.1-8.4, salinity 1.023-1.025. Moderate lighting, moderate flow. Minimum tank volume 200 L. Feed 1-2 times per week with small pieces of fish or shrimp. Very sensitive to nitrates (max 10 ppm) and phosphates. Perfectly stable water is essential. Avoid strong currents. Compatible with clownfish and peaceful fish. Do not move once settled.
