Beschreibung
Marsilea crenata is a creeping aquatic fern with bright green four-leaf clover-like leaves. Each leaf is 0.5–2 cm in diameter, borne on thin stolons. Underwater, leaves stay small and close to the substrate. It can also grow emersed, producing larger leaves. Growth is moderate and it adapts to a wide range of parameters. It does not require added CO₂ but benefits from it. A hardy, low-maintenance plant ideal for beginners.

Pflegehinweise
Easy plant, tolerates low to moderate light (0.3-0.5 W/L). Stronger light promotes denser carpet. Ideal temperature 20-28°C, pH 6.0-7.5, GH 2-15°dGH, KH 1-8°dKH. No strict CO₂ requirement, but 10-20 mg/L injection improves growth. Plant small clumps 2-3 cm apart. Regular trimming keeps carpet low. Compatible with most peaceful fish. Avoid burrowing species. Propagate by cutting stolons.
