Meiacanthus grammistes is a fish from the Blenniidae family. It reaches up to 10 cm. It has an elongated body with horizontal black and white stripes. It has venom glands at the base of its teeth, but its venom is mild and harmless to humans. It is an active and curious fish, often seen perching on rocks. It is omnivorous and accepts a variety of foods. It can be territorial towards conspecifics.

Marine tank of at least 100 liters, with rocks and hiding places. Salinity 1.020-1.025, temperature 24-28°C. Omnivore: flakes, brine shrimp, mysis, algae. Caution: may nip other fish, but rarely dangerous. Avoid keeping with very small fish.
