Pachyclavularia is an encrusting soft coral forming a bright green mat of polyps. Easy to keep, it is ideal for marine aquarium beginners.
Beschreibung
This coral forms a basal encrustation from which numerous green polyps emerge. The polyps are retractable and open in light. It can quickly cover rocks and decorations. Its growth is moderate to fast depending on conditions. It is very hardy and tolerates a wide range of parameters. In aquariums, it can become invasive if not controlled. It lacks a calcareous skeleton.

Compatibility: peaceful, can be kept with other soft corals and reef fish. Difficulty: easy (2/5). Adult size: encrusting up to 30 cm diameter. Lifespan: 5-10 years. Propagation by fragmentation.
