Beschreibung
Porites astreoides appears as massive, dome-shaped or encrusting colonies, mustard yellow to brown. Polyps are very small and tightly packed. It is often confused with Porites porites but distinguished by its brighter color. It tolerates a wide range of conditions. It can be used as a structural element in the aquascape. Its slow growth makes it easy to manage.

Nitrates <20 ppm, phosphates <0.1 ppm. Can be fed phytoplankton. Very resistant to diseases. Compatible with most fish. Can be placed on the bottom or mid-tank.
