Pflegehinweise

A minimum 300-liter aquarium is needed for a group of 4 to 6 individuals. Water should be acidic (pH 5.5-6.5) and soft (GH 2-6), with a temperature of 26-30°C. Powerful filtration but moderate flow is recommended. Diet should include vegetables (spinach, zucchini) and protein foods. Avoid very small fish; peaceful cichlids of similar size (Angelfish, Discus) or large tetras are suitable. Provide large plants, roots, and rocks. Weekly water changes of 30% are essential. Captive breeding is possible but requires a specific tank.
