Description

Apistogramma panduro is a recently described dwarf cichlid. Males are large and colorful with high dorsal fins. Females are smaller and yellow. They live in pairs and are territorial. Water must be very soft and acidic.

Care notes

Tank of at least 60L, heavily planted with hiding spots. Very soft water (GH < 5, KH < 2), pH 5.0-6.0, temperature 25-28°C. Varied diet: brine shrimp, daphnia, small insects. Avoid aggressive tankmates.
