Description

Bamboo shrimp is a filter-feeding species that uses its fan-like front legs to capture suspended particles. It can reach 8 cm. Coloration varies from brown to reddish with a light dorsal stripe. It is very peaceful and social. It requires moderate current to feed. It molts regularly. It is a hardy species but sensitive to water quality.
