Description
Carnegiella marthae grows up to 3.5 cm. Its body is deep and compressed, with a shiny silver line. The pectoral fins are large and allow it to glide. It is a schooling fish. It feeds on surface insects. In the aquarium, it is peaceful and active. It prefers acidic and soft water. Its small size makes it ideal for small volumes.

Care notes
School of 6-10 individuals. Aquarium of at least 60L. Parameters: pH 5.0-6.5, GH 1-10, KH 1-5, temperature 24-28°C. Diet: micro-flakes, brine shrimp, daphnia. Nitrates max 20 mg/L. Cover required. Floating plants and roots. Compatible with very small peaceful fish. Avoid larger species.
