The Dwarf Corydoras is one of the smallest corydoras, perfect for nano aquariums. It is very peaceful and lives in groups.
Description
This fish reaches only 2–3 cm. Its body is stocky with a light beige to gray coloration, marked with small dark spots and a black lateral band. Fins are transparent. It has short barbels. It is a schooling fish that must be kept in groups of at least 6. It is very active during the day and sifts through the substrate. It reproduces by laying eggs on plants or glass. Fry are very small and difficult to raise. It is sensitive to water quality.

Care notes
A minimum 30-liter tank is sufficient for a group. Ideal temperature 24–28°C, pH 6.0–7.5, GH 5–15. Substrate should be fine and non-abrasive. Diet must be suitable for its small size: micro-pellets, brine shrimp, daphnia. This fish is very peaceful and can coexist with other small species like rasboras or shrimp. Keep in groups of at least 6. Frequent water changes and good oxygenation are needed. Avoid larger or aggressive fish.
