Description

Shrimp 4-8 cm, grey-brown body able to shift tone to match sand. Buries itself in substrate and ambushes prey. Loose schools in estuaries.

At least 100 L tank with fine sand. Brackish (salinity 1.005-1.020). Temperature 8-20°C, pH 7.5-8.5. Carnivore (worms, small invertebrates, shrimp powder). Sensitive to water quality.
