Description

Epiplatys annulatus is a small fish from the Nothobranchiidae family, native to West Africa. It reaches about 3 cm. Its body is elongated with dark vertical bands on a light background, hence the name 'annulatus'. Males are more colorful with elongated fins. It is a peaceful surface-dwelling fish that lives in groups. It is highly appreciated in aquariums for its small size and colors.
