Description

Ludwigia sedioides is an amphibious plant with creeping or floating stems. Its leaves are alternate, rhombic, bright green with red veins. It forms dense mats on the surface. Flowers are yellow, solitary. In aquariums, it can be kept floating or planted in the background. Growth is fast under good light. Frequent trimming is needed to control spread.
