Description
Salvinia auriculata is a floating fern that forms dense mats on the surface. Its leaves are 1-3 cm, oval and slightly folded, with water-repellent hairs. Fine roots hang underwater. It multiplies quickly by fragmentation. Very effective at absorbing nutrients and reducing algae. Beware of overgrowth.
