Description

Tylomelania perfecta reaches about 5 cm. Its shell is conical, black with characteristic yellow spots. Its body is dark gray. It feeds on algae and plant debris. It is a peaceful species that does not disturb plants. It reproduces by laying eggs on rocks. It prefers hard, alkaline water. Lifespan is 2 to 3 years.
