Colonies of Acropora secale are arborescent, with fine, highly branched branches. Corallites are small and arranged in a spiral. Dominant color is light brown to olive green, sometimes with blue tips. This species is very hardy and adapts to various conditions. It grows fast and can become invasive. Behavior is semi-aggressive, requiring adequate spacing.

Nitrates <5 ppm, phosphates <0.05 ppm. Minimum tank volume 100 L. Beware of fast growth that may shade neighboring corals. Feed phytoplankton and fine particles.
