Sebae clownfish
Amphiprion sebae
Amphiprion sebae has a bright orange body with a vertical white band behind the eye and a yellow tail. Fins are orange. It can reach 12 cm. It is a territorial fish that lives in symbiosis with anemones (Stichodactyla, Heteractis). It is hardier than other clownfish. In aquariums, it can be kept without anemone. It is omnivorous and accepts a wide variety of foods. Captive breeding is common.

Temperature 24-28°C, pH 8.1-8.4, salinity 1.020-1.025. Minimum tank size 100 liters. Diet omnivorous: flakes, pellets, brine shrimp, mysis. Compatibility: can coexist with other peaceful fish, but territorial towards other clownfish. Ideal in pair. Needs hiding spots. Can be kept in reef. Good filtration required. Sensitive to salinity fluctuations.
