Care
Care notes
A minimum tank size of 100 liters is recommended for a group of 5-6 Kubotai loaches. Ideal temperature is 24-28°C, pH 6.5-7.5, GH 5-12. Fine sand substrate is important to protect their barbels. Hiding places (rocks, driftwood, plants) and moderate water flow are appreciated. They are omnivorous: accept dry, frozen, and live foods. Avoid very small or very calm tankmates. Regular water changes are necessary. Breeding in captivity is possible but rare.
