Bucephalandra sp. 'Blue'
This Bucephalandra variety is characterized by oval to lanceolate leaves, bluish-green with metallic reflections. The creeping rhizomes attach to hard surfaces. Its growth is slow and compact. It produces small white spathe flowers when emersed. In aquariums, it remains submerged and forms dense clumps. The bluish color is more visible under moderate light. It does not require CO2 but benefits from it. It is a robust and easy-care plant.

Temperature 22-28°C, pH 6-7.5, GH 2-15, KH 1-5. Moderate light to bring out the bluish reflections. CO2 optional. Attach the rhizome to a rock or wood. Liquid fertilizer recommended. Minimum tank size 20 liters. Compatible with peaceful fish and shrimp. Avoid bottom-dwelling fish. Prune damaged leaves to stimulate growth.
