Cambarellus diminutus is a dwarf crayfish reaching only 2-3 cm as an adult. Its coloration ranges from light brown to gray with darker patterns. It is very shy and spends most of its time hidden under leaves or in crevices. This peaceful species can coexist with small fish and shrimp.

Care notes
A tank of at least 20 liters with plenty of hiding spots (rocks, driftwood, plants). Water must be clean and well-oxygenated. Avoid large or aggressive fish. Feed with crustacean pellets, blanched vegetables, and small frozen foods.
