Centropyge argi is one of the smallest angelfish, reaching only 10 cm. Its body is bright blue with a yellow head and caudal fin. It originates from Western Atlantic reefs, where it lives in small groups. In aquariums, it is hardy and adapts well, but can be territorial towards other dwarf angels. It needs hiding spots and a diet rich in algae.

Care notes

Tank of at least 100 L with live rock for grazing. Stable water, low nitrates. Diet: algae, spirulina, small crustaceans. Can be kept in pairs or groups in a larger tank.
