Corydoras hastatus is a small catfish about 2.5 cm. Its body is beige with dark spots and a black band on the tail. It is very social and must live in a group. It enjoys planted tanks with a soft substrate. It is an excellent bottom cleaner.

Tank of at least 30L, sandy substrate, plants and roots. Group of 6+ individuals. Soft to slightly acidic water, gentle filtration. Varied diet: micro pellets, brine shrimp, daphnia. Regular water changes.
