Gobiodon unicolor
Gobiodon unicolor grows up to 5 cm. Its body is stocky, brown-red to brown-green, without distinct patterns. It has a small mouth and prominent eyes. Like other Gobiodon, it lives in symbiosis with branching corals, hiding among branches. It is territorial towards conspecifics but tolerates other fish. Its dorsal fin is single and continuous. It can slightly change color to adapt to its environment.

Care notes
This goby requires a reef aquarium with Acropora corals. Temperature 24-28°C, pH 8.1-8.4. Minimum volume 60 liters for a pair. Diet: small crustaceans, mysis, artemia. Sensitive to nitrates and phosphates. Efficient filtration is needed. Can be kept alone or in pairs. Avoid large or aggressive fish. Good oxygenation is important.
