Heteractis crispa is an anemone of the family Stichodactylidae. Its diameter can reach 30 cm. Its tentacles are long, thin and often curled, giving a frizzy appearance. Its color varies from brown to green, sometimes with purple tips. It lives attached to rocks. It is less stinging than other anemones.

Requires a reef aquarium of at least 150 liters with moderate to intense lighting and moderate flow. Salinity 1.023-1.025, temperature 24-28°C. Diet: small fish, shrimp, brine shrimp. Beware of other anemones as it can move.
