Pomacanthus annularis is an impressive angelfish reaching 30 cm. Adults have a brown-green body with curved blue lines forming rings, and a yellow caudal fin. Juveniles are dark blue with white lines. It inhabits Indo-Pacific reefs, often in pairs. In aquariums, it needs a large volume and varied diet. It can be aggressive towards other angelfish.
