Care notes

Maintain temperature 24-28°C, pH 8.1-8.4, salinity 1.020-1.025, and dKH 8-12. A minimum tank size of 500 liters is recommended for an adult. Provide plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding. Diet should include sponges, algae (nori, spirulina), and meaty foods (shrimp, mussels). Avoid keeping with other similarly sized angelfish. It can be kept in a reef tank but may nip at some soft corals. Strong filtration and moderate water flow are required. Perform 20% weekly water changes.
