Wolffia arrhiza is a tiny floating plant (0.1-0.2 mm) spherical or ellipsoidal in shape. It has no roots or stems, only a vegetative body. It reproduces by rapid budding. It forms a green carpet on the water surface. It is very rich in protein and used as fish food. In aquariums, it can proliferate quickly.

Parameters: temperature 20-30°C, pH 6-8, GH 2-15, KH 1-10. Low to moderate lighting. No CO2. Very fast growth in nutrient-rich water. Remove regularly to avoid smothering the aquarium. Compatible with all fish. Minimum tank volume 5 L. Ideal for fry tanks.
