Descripción
The Nyassa Peacock reaches 14 cm. Males are silver-blue with yellow fins. Females are grey. It is a mouthbrooder. It is relatively peaceful but can be territorial during breeding. It lives in harems in rocky areas. Its diet is carnivorous. It is less colorful than other peacocks but very hardy.

Minimum 250 liter tank for a group. Parameters: 24-28°C, pH 7.5-8.5, GH 10-20, KH 8-12. Nitrates <20, phosphates <0.5. Carnivorous diet: pellets, brine shrimp, bloodworms. Compatible with other Malawi cichlids. Avoid overly aggressive species. Provide rocks and hiding spots. Weekly water changes.
