Descripción

This barb reaches 12 cm. Its body is silvery with red and black spots, and a black-edged dorsal fin. Males are more colorful. It is a gregarious fish that must live in groups of at least 5. Omnivorous, it feeds on flakes, small invertebrates, and plant matter. Peaceful but may be slightly boisterous with slow fish.
