Descripción

Betta pugnax is a labyrinth fish native to Southeast Asia. It grows up to 7 cm and has a brown to greenish coloration with metallic sheens. Males are more colorful and have longer fins. It inhabits calm, shallow waters, often in swamps and rice paddies. It is a bubble nest builder.

Notas de cuidado

Keep in a tank of at least 60L with a lid for humid air. Soft to slightly acidic water, gentle filtration, floating plants and hiding spots. Feed with meaty foods (brine shrimp, bloodworms, pellets). Avoid overly active tankmates.
