Descripción

Favia rotundata is characterized by massive, rounded colonies, sometimes dome-shaped. Polyps are medium-sized with short, thick tentacles. Color ranges from brown to olive green, sometimes with lighter patches. Septa are thick and well spaced. It is a robust species that tolerates slightly turbid conditions. Growth is slow, forming solid structures.
