Heteractis crispa is an anemone of the family Stichodactylidae. Its diameter can reach 30 cm. Its tentacles are long, thin and often curled, giving a frizzy appearance. Its color varies from brown to green, sometimes with purple tips. It lives attached to rocks. It is less stinging than other anemones.
