Descripción

Montipora informis forms encrusting colonies with irregular outlines, sometimes with small protrusions. Its color is usually brown, beige, or dull green. The corallites are small and not very prominent. It grows slowly to moderately. It tolerates moderate light and low to moderate flow. It is a very hardy coral, suitable for less stable aquariums. It can cover rocks and walls.
