Sakura shrimp is a selectively bred variety of Neocaridina davidi (formerly heteropoda). It measures 2-3 cm and has an intense red color. It is peaceful and breeds easily in aquariums. It feeds on algae and debris. It prefers well-oxygenated water and moderate temperature.
