Descripción

Procambarus fallax reaches up to 12 cm. Its coloration is variable, often marbled brown, beige and green. Its claws are slender. It is aggressive and territorial. It digs and may damage plants. Omnivorous, it accepts a wide variety of foods. Its peculiarity is parthenogenetic reproduction: females produce clones without males. It lives 2 to 4 years. It is very hardy.
