Descripción
The altum angelfish is the largest angelfish species, reaching 15 cm in height. It has a silver body with dark vertical bars and very long fins. It is sensitive to water quality and requires soft, acidic water. It is a gregarious fish that lives in groups.

Tank of at least 200L, tall (60 cm minimum), with tall plants and roots. Very soft water (GH < 5, KH < 2), pH 5.0-6.5, temperature 26-30°C. Varied diet: brine shrimp, bloodworms, small fish. Avoid strong currents. Keep in groups of 4-6.
