Descripción
Seriatopora aculeata has extremely thin and pointed branches, densely branched, giving a bird's nest appearance. Polyps are tiny and retractile. Color ranges from brown to green, sometimes pink or purple. It grows quickly under good conditions. It is more robust than other Seriatopora. It tolerates moderate to strong flow. Its symbiosis with zooxanthellae is very efficient.

Temperature 24-28°C, pH 8.1-8.4, salinity 1.023-1.025. Moderate to intense lighting (PAR 200-300). Moderate to strong flow. Nitrates <10 ppm, phosphates <0.05 ppm. Calcium 400-450 ppm, magnesium 1300-1400 ppm. More tolerant than other Seriatopora. Beware of fragile tips during cleaning. Compatible with most reef fish. Easy fragmentation.
