Descrição

Its colonies form dense clumps of thin, digitate branches, often brown, green or bluish. Branch tips are rounded. It grows quickly and can dominate shallow reefs. Its polyps are small and retracted during the day. It reproduces by natural fragmentation. In aquariums, it requires strong light and moderate to strong flow. It is sensitive to parameter fluctuations.

Temperature 25-28°C, pH 8.1-8.4, salinity 1.024-1.026. Strong lighting, moderate to strong flow. Calcium 420-450 ppm, magnesium 1300-1350 ppm. Nitrates < 5 ppm, phosphates < 0.05 ppm. Feeds by photosynthesis, possible plankton supplement. Minimum tank volume 200 liters. Compatible with other Acropora if enough space. Avoid polyp-grazing fish.
