Clownfish characterized by a broad white saddle-shaped band on the back. Less common than other species.
Descrição
Amphiprion polymnus has a dark brown to black body with a broad white band on the back resembling a saddle, and a white band behind the eye. The tail is white or pale yellow. It is usually associated with sea anemones (Heteractis magnifica, Stichodactyla haddoni). In the aquarium, it is less hardy than Clark's anemonefish but still easy to keep. It is territorial but peaceful with other fish.

Tank of at least 150 liters. Provide a host anemone if possible (Heteractis magnifica). Varied diet (flakes, pellets, brine shrimp, mysis). Stable, well-filtered water. Avoid aggressive tankmates.
