Notas de cuidados

A tank of at least 100 liters is recommended for one specimen, with a decor including hiding places (rocks, roots, caves). The substrate can be fine sand or gravel. Filtration should be efficient with moderate flow. Ideal parameters are temperature 23-27°C, pH 6.0-7.5, hardness GH 5-15°dGH and KH 2-8°dKH. It feeds mainly on algae, bottom-dweller tablets, and blanched vegetables (zucchini, cucumber). It is compatible with peaceful medium-sized fish. Avoid aggressive or overly active species. A weekly water change of 20-30% is advised.
