Descrição

This shrimp reaches about 3-4 cm. Its rostrum is very elongated, clearly extending beyond the eyes. Coloration varies from brown-red to bright red, with lighter bands on the abdomen. Antennae are long and slender. It is very active, often swimming in the water column. Its behavior is peaceful, but it can be slightly more territorial than other shrimp. It feeds on algae, detritus, and microorganisms. Reproduction is moderately difficult, requiring stable water and rich feeding.
