Descrição

Euphyllia cristata forms massive colonies with swollen, rounded polyps, often green or brown. Polyps can reach 5 cm in diameter. It has short, puffy tentacles. It is an aggressive coral that can extend stinging tentacles at night. It feeds on medium-sized prey like brine shrimp. Growth is slow. It is sensitive to parameter fluctuations.
