Descrição
Fundulopanchax fallax reaches up to 8 cm. Males are blue-green with red spots and yellow fins, females are light brown. Its body is slender and laterally compressed. It has a lyre-shaped caudal fin in dominant males. It is an active fish that explores all levels of the aquarium. It is generally peaceful but males can be slightly territorial. Its peculiarity is its ability to adapt to a wide range of parameters. It breeds easily on Java moss.

Temperature: 22–26 °C, pH 6.0–7.5, GH 2–15, KH 1–8. A 40-liter tank minimum is suitable for a pair or small group. Accepts dry, frozen and live foods. Compatible with other peaceful fish. A lid is recommended. Plant the aquarium densely with open areas. Gentle to moderate filtration. Breeding is easy: eggs are laid on plants and hatch in 12–16 days.
