Descrição

The head-and-tail-light tetra (Hemigrammus ocellifer) is a small characid reaching up to 5 cm. Its body is silvery with a dark lateral stripe. It has two characteristic reflective spots: one on the eye and one at the base of the caudal fin, hence its name. It is a very peaceful schooling fish, ideal in groups of 6 to 10. It adapts well to various water parameters and enjoys a planted tank.
