The pink clownfish is an elegant species with a pinkish-orange body and a single vertical white bar. It is one of the most peaceful clownfish, ideal for community reef aquariums.
Description
This clownfish has a uniform pinkish-orange body, a vertical white bar just behind the eye and another at the base of the caudal fin. The fins are translucent with a pink tint. It reaches up to 10 cm. It is a very peaceful species, even towards other clownfish, which is rare. It lives in symbiosis with Heteractis magnifica and Stichodactyla gigantea anemones. In an aquarium, it adapts easily and can be kept in groups. Its small size and calm temperament make it an excellent choice for reef beginners.

Care notes
Recommended parameters: temperature 24–28 °C, pH 8.1–8.4, GH 8–12 dGH, KH 8–12 dKH, nitrates < 20 ppm, phosphates < 0.1 ppm. A minimum 80-liter tank is sufficient for a pair. Omnivorous diet includes brine shrimp, mysis, flakes and pellets. This species is highly compatible with peaceful reef fish and invertebrates. It accepts anemones but can live without. Moderate lighting and gentle filtration are adequate. Regular 10% weekly water changes are important. Avoid aggressive or overly large fish.
